Blues, doncha know
Brought it up north to the squares

That had that funky, funky soul

But this country was divided
And that sound, they tried to hide it
They said that it was evil
Had to do with that big beat

It still busted out full-throttle

And the scene was complete

Through the teeny-boppers moans
